What happens after conversion Monday, September 21, 2009

-One Member, One View – Your 12-digit account number(s) will remain the same. However, now you will be able to see all your Community Credit Union business at once, whether you review your account activity via Internet or Telephone Banking or on paper monthly statements.

-Member Statements – A final statement from our old banking system will be sent to members covering the period of September 1 to September 18. Your first statement from the new banking system will cover the period from September 19 to October 18 for all personal accounts; business account statements will cover the period from September 19 to September 30. More detailed information and a consolidated view of accounts will be included with your first statement from the new banking system.

Changes to CU@HOME and CUbyPHONE users
-Access to CU@Home is now through the Community Credit Union website. To access internet banking go to the Community Credit Union website at www.communitycu.mb.ca and select the CU@Home button on our home page. The old web address will no longer be active.

-Reset your CU@Home password – Following conversion, you’ll be asked for your MemberCard number the first time you use CU@Home Internet Banking. You new temporary password will be the last seven digits of your MemberCard number ( or the last seven digits of your lowest MemberCard number if you have more than one). You will be prompted to change it to a new Personal Access Code (PAC) that only you will know. New PACs must be 5 to 8 digits long of numbers only. Letters and other characters may no longer be used in your PAC.

CUbyPHONE USERS -Telephone number has changed – Toll Free 1-866-403-5458 or Winnipeg members can use 204-989-2011

-Menu Items have changed – Please listen carefully to selections

-Access is now by MemberCard – To access telephone banking you will now enter your 16-digit MemberCard number, rather than you member number. If you do not have a MemberCard you can pick one up at any branch. Your temporary password will be assigned as outlined above under CU@Home.

If you have more than one MemberCard, you can use any one of them to see your relationship with Community Credit Union in its entirety. And, once you reset your password you will use it for both CUbyPhone and CU@Home.

What's not changing after Conversion?
-Your MemberCard will continue to function as usual after conversion. Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) will not change. -Direct deposits and pre-authorized transactions – including transfers, automatic payment and payroll deposits will continue to be processed as usual. -Your existing cheques will continue to work through your account - there is no need to order new cheques.
